Choose Your Fluorophores

Compatibility with a wide range of fluorophores allows flexibility to select cost-effective or high-performance fluorophores depending on the application, with confidence that the system can adapt as requirements evolve in the future.

Robust Data Generation

While AI-assisted spectral unmixing is becoming a popular technique for overcoming the challenge of spectral overlap when imaging multiple fluorophores, results can be sensitive to user-defined parameters, raising questions around data accuracy and reproducibility.

Combining the pE-10 Illumination System with carefully engineered Kromnigon SpectraSplit® 10 optical filters instead allows clean optical separation of up to 10 fluorophores during image acquisition itself. Avoiding the need for complex “black box” image manipulation algorithms significantly reduces ambiguity in the data, enabling reproducibility across time, instruments and laboratories – which is particularly valuable in regulated environments such as translational research and pathology.

Coolled pE-10

Precision LED Illumination for Spatial Biology

Delivering fast, repeatable multi-wavelength excitation from 365-850 nm, the pE-10 provides OEMs with a competitive advantage by generating reproducible, high-plex data and advancing spatial biology applications, from discovery to drug development and digital pathology.

Key advantages:

  • Fast, hardware-resolved multiplex imaging of up to 10 fluorophores
  • High-throughput automation with <7 µs TTL triggering
  • Flexible fluorophore compatibility for evolving applications
  • OEM-ready integration for scalable manufacturing

Multiplex Scan Mode with VS200

When tissue samples are limited, it’s important to get the most possible data from each tissue section. Multiplexing mode aligns multiple fluorescence channels with a reference image, enabling greater understanding of co-expression and spatial composition of multiple targets within a sample.
